To be honest people who were born in the 1990 to 2004 went through the era of fandom consolidation and even if they are in other fandoms now, they would witness the consolidation in their timeline be it when Doh Kyungsoo discharged from military or whenever EXO released something. Sometimes there are people who crosses the line but generally everyone would be quite accepting of this situation. Because everyone remembers those memories of their teenage years (with EXO), the phrase 'EXO is my youth' is really relatable
