Isn't this a first for a male idol in China? I remember hearing people talk about Yoona (having a school build in her name) too???

They will continue to support / maintain the school after building it, from there you can see how big is Kai's fanbase in China. It's not easy to sustain a long term project like this.

After seeing Kai's kind deed through Big Issue last year, his Chinese fans were touched by his actions and this (school) is the result of it.

The official opening is on Kai's birthday and the school is named Kim Jongin Hope Primary School.
It's good to see their good influences on an international scale.

[+192; -4] Last year Kai did a pictorial for Big Issue whom is supporting the homeless for free and it helped the homeless greatly. Because how fans are like their idols, (Kai's fans) are kind. Crybaby Kai will be so touched when he hears about this ㅠㅠ When he heard about Big Issue being sold out, Kai was so thankful to fans he nearly cried ㅠㅠ (A pretty boy who suddenly lifted his head while crying ♡

They build a primary school for kids ㄷㄷㄷ Though birthday ads in subways during idols' birthday are good too, but i think building a school for kids who are unable to go to school and continue to maintain / support the school is even more meaningful! Every year fans will donate money during idols' birthday, this year... it will be good too if we can build something like a kindergarten ㅎㅎ
